Overview The Manager of IT Asset Management at Quorum Software is responsible for overseeing the company's IT asset strategy, optimizing asset performance, and ensuring alignment with the organizational IT budget and goals. This role involves setting hardware and software standards, managing vendor relationships, handling procurement, and ensuring a well-maintained IT asset lifecycle across the company. The role also includes supervising the IT Asset Management team, managing software licensing and renewals, and implementing efficient processes to ensure compliance and security for all IT assets. The Manager of IT Asset Management plays a critical role in driving the strategic deployment and management of IT resources across the organization, ensuring operational efficiency, and meeting the technological needs of a dynamic software environment. Responsibilities Manages the IT Asset Management budget in collaboration with finance and business departments to ensure efficient asset utilization and adherence to financial goals. Develops and maintains lifecycle standards for company computers, software, and devices to align with organizational and industry best practices. Manages relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts, securing licenses, and overseeing asset procurement for hardware, software, and IT-related equipment. Conducts regular meetings with global offices and internal stakeholders ensuring equipment is stocked, available, and working properly. Conducts regular vendor meetings to discuss product updates, software agreements, and contract terms, ensuring alignment with company standards. Oversees the purchase, deployment, and lifecycle management of IT hardware and software, including maintaining up-to-date inventory records and tracking replacements. Ensures all company-issued devices, AV/VC equipment, and software meet internal standards for security and functionality. Reviews, negotiates, and manages software licenses, agreements, and maintenance renewals, ensuring all assets are compliant with organizational standards. Utilizes asset and license management software to maintain an accurate database of agreements and renewals, ensuring compliance and timely updates. Leads the IT Asset Management team by providing clear direction, setting priorities, and overseeing daily tasks to ensure efficient and effective operations. Ensures a high level of customer support for IT asset requests in partnership with the IT helpdesk team, providing guidance for employees on purchasing IT assets and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Addresses IT support tickets related to asset management promptly and works collaboratively with internal departments to resolve issues. And other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business information systems, or a related field; a degree in Asset Management or a related area is preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered. Experience: Minimum of five years in IT asset management or IT services, including at least two years in a supervisory role. Seven years of relevant experience and additional certifications in asset management are highly desirable. Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Jira or similar inventory-tracking systems. Advanced Excel skills required; Power BI highly preferred, with optional familiarity in Microsoft Graph and PowerShell for data integration. Certifications & Knowledge: ITIL Foundation certification is a plus. Solid understanding of accounting principles for supporting purchase orders, budgeting, and forecasting. Proficient in IT service management processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management. Communication & Problem-Solving: Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical concepts to various audiences, including stakeholders and vendors. Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Project & Resource Management: Skilled in project planning, resource management, and adapting to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interpret and adhere to company policies and procedures. Leadership & Independence: Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing a team, including performance management and task assignment. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Additional Details Work Environment: Primarily office-based with a moderate physical requirement, including the occasional need to lift equipment (up to 30 lbs), operate standard office equipment, and travel as necessary for vendor or site visits. Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver's License Verification, and Passport/ID validation. Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position. The successful candidate will be required to ensure they maintain and renew any visas or permits that grant employment eligibility where applicable. Current professional card or registration in Colombia (if applicable): The successful candidate will be required to present their professional card or registration information if the role is deemed to be regulated. Onboarding Medical: The successful candidate will be required to undergo an onboarding medical examination prior to commencement of employment, in accordance with Colombian legislation.
