Title and Summary Manager, Finance Business Partner, Security Solutions Organization Overview: The Security Solutions Organization team is responsible for Mastercard's safety and security-related products which protect the integrity of the electronic payment system while ensuring payments are convenient yet secure. The products are primarily focused on authentication, fraud prevention, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution across all payment channels as well as all stakeholders; issuers, acquirers, merchants, processors, and consumers. Working as a key member of the Security Solutions Finance team within the Mastercard Services business unit there is now an opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-motivated finance professional to join the team as a key business partner! At Mastercard, the Security Solutions (SSO) finance team: Partners with business unit divisions to help achieve financial targets and objectives through thought leadership. Supports product owners by investigating, reporting on, and mitigating any variance in revenue and expenses. Provides business unit support for financial reporting, planning, and analysis. Role: The Manager will be responsible for: Partnering with individuals across the Enablement, Fraud, and Payment Resiliency businesses on a variety of tasks. Supporting various financial business cases, models, and standard templates ensuring quality, accuracy, and focused analytic review. Budgeting and forecasting short/long-term plans, as well as preparing and analyzing internal financial reports and communicating results to the product owners of the division. Assisting teams to identify Revenue opportunities and monitor Expenses related to the financial plan. Preparing monthly reporting and analysis of financial results and communicating to divisional management. Demonstrating appropriate understanding/working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls and applying them. Preparing ad-hoc reporting and analysis demonstrating insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to divisional partners and management to drive business results. Proactively researching and resolving financial inquiries and issues for the Security Solutions (SSO) division. Performing the annual target and budget process by issuing guidelines, analyzing performance, producing key management reporting, consolidating information, and tracking changes. All About You: The ideal candidate for this position should have: Bachelor's degree with a major in Business, Finance, or Accounting is preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to partner with and influence others. Prior experience in Business Partnering, Financial Planning & Analysis, or related Finance field. Excellent financial/analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly proficient using MS Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of financial reporting systems and experience with combining and/or consolidating environments including multiple data sources. Possess situational awareness to understand needs of various stakeholders across business, finance, and other cross-functional and external teams. Work and think independently. Ability to navigate unfamiliar situations, provide narrative and rationale for financial analysis. Strong sense of urgency; excels in a deadline-driven work environment.
