All the way, into the amazing. Maersk Project Logistics (MPL) Mission: Planning, orchestration and execution of end-to-end special transport services for large-scale industrial projects. The Opportunity: The MPL Procurement Analyst is responsible to support the Latin America MPL teams in the due diligence and linkage experience process of our vendors. This role will also carry out procurement activities for specific cargo categories with third-party suppliers, where process optimization and speed play a crucial role. Key Responsibilities: Daily follow-up, reporting, and initiation of actions regarding the progress of the vendor creation or vendor management process. Performing background checks and other tasks to ensure accurate knowledge of business associates, utilizing and analyzing available tools. Monitoring and reporting vendors performance, based on key metrics. Conducting data analysis and preparing reports to optimize the vendor creation process. Implementing process improvements for the procurement of spot offers and vendor updates/creation. Developing quotations for certain cargo categories, classified as transactional. Collaborating with area MPL teams to ensure the correct assignment flow of operations to the appropriate general cargo vendors. We're looking for: Graduate student from a Technical or Professional Bachelor in Logistics; Engineering; Business Administration, Economy, or related areas. Excellent communication skills. Sense of urgency and proactiveness. Organization and problem-solving skills. Advanced or intermediate English and Spanish level. The candidates must be located in Bogotá, Colombia. (Desirable) Experience in the vendor background, due diligence and onboarding process. (Desirable) Knowledge in local and international transport logistics.
