Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive LTL Specialist Junior to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of U.S.-based experience in logistics, with a strong focus on Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments. As part of our team, you will play a key role in managing shipment coordination, tracking, and communication with carriers to ensure our clients receive timely and efficient distribution services. Key Responsibilities: Shipment Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of LTL shipments, ensuring efficient and timely distribution of goods to meet client expectations. Shipment Tracking and Updates: Monitor and track the progress of shipments, providing timely updates to customers and stakeholders on shipment status, and proactively addressing any delays or issues. Carrier Communication and Coordination: Work closely with carriers and transportation partners to schedule pickups and deliveries, confirming alignment with timelines and service standards. Documentation Management: Prepare and manage shipment documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards. Customer Service and Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries related to shipment status, delivery timelines, and potential issues. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve challenges that arise during shipment, whether related to scheduling, route optimization, or cargo handling. Compliance Adherence: Ensure all LTL shipments comply with federal and state regulations, including proper documentation for all cargo types. Data Entry and Systems Management: Utilize logistics software and systems to input shipment data, maintain records, and monitor performance metrics for continuous improvement. Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months of U.S. logistics experience, with a specific focus on Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments. Experience working within a 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) environment is strongly preferred. Proficiency in logistics and shipment tracking software; experience with ERP or TMS systems is a plus.
