Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Mid-Level Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will support the auditing of freight invoices, manage operational data, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role is essential in maintaining accuracy in pricing and service delivery, and contributing to overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Invoice Auditing: Review and verify freight invoices for truckload and LTL shipments to ensure accuracy and adherence to agreed-upon rates and services. Operational Monitoring: Track and audit live shipment data to ensure operational compliance and accuracy in service delivery. Data Reconciliation: Reconcile shipment data with financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies in billing and charges. Reporting: Prepare and present audit reports, offering insights and recommendations for process improvements. Collaboration: Work closely with finance, operations, and customer service teams to facilitate communication and address any audit-related issues. Compliance: Ensure that audits and operational activities are conducted in line with company policies and industry standards. Technology Utilization: Use Google Docs & Sheets, Slack, Dialpad or VoIP phone systems, and HubSpot (or similar CRM) effectively for data management and communication. Process Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to operational efficiency, along with other activities the company may require from you. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or a related field. Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with proficiency in data analysis tools and familiarity with freight management systems and Excel. Language: Proficiency in English (B2+ level). Computer Skills: Proficient in Google Docs & Sheets, Slack, Dialpad or VoIP phone systems, HubSpot (or similar CRM), and email management with templates. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
