Logistics Analyst

About ISA: We specialize in the international market of pork, beef, chicken, and turkey meat. Position Overview: ISA is looking for a Logistics Analyst to manage the daily interactions between internal customers and suppliers, effectively coordinating logistics operations. Essential Duties: Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to plan future shipments and ensure deadlines are met. Identify the best route for shipments based on product preparation, freezer availability, and available transportation services (both road and sea). Solve daily logistical problems related to carriers and the needs of the company's internal customers. Identify areas for improvement within logistics processes and propose ideas to optimize performance and efficiency. Academic Background: University degree in areas related to logistics, transportation, business administration, or related fields. Experience, Knowledge, Technical Skills: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the logistics and transportation industry, preferably in positions related to ground transportation management, performing functions such as: Coordinate and supervise international transportation logistics, including the management of the necessary documentation for the transportation of cargo. Ensure that delivery deadlines are met and that high-quality standards of customer service are maintained. Skills: Maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations. Additional Qualifications: Intermediate Excel skills, advanced English, high analytical skills, detail-oriented, and service-oriented.
