Responsible for the daily execution of transportation needs, involving tracking, tracing, and communicating status updates to internal and external customers for in-transit domestic and international shipments. Includes inbound/outbound product flows for Medtronic's North America distribution centers, plants, and sterilizers. This position will be fully remote in Colombia. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Establish daily product flows and movements coming into and out of Medtronic's North America distribution centers, including forward stocking locations. Work closely with receiving and shipping teams to ensure optimization of product deliveries, pick-ups, and consolidations for each DC location to maximize operational efficiencies and flows while minimizing costs and maximizing service levels. Manage daily capacities and scheduling related to finished goods product flows into distribution facilities from suppliers as well as daily shipments to customers. Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers to ensure day-to-day tactical needs are met at each distribution center location; facilitate issue resolution and product flow optimization for each facility and engage front-line management. Manage freight expedite and analysis team based in Memphis; optimize NFO utilization for Spinal loaner program to reduce costs while meeting or exceeding expected customer service levels. Assist in facility startups, expansions, and/or closures as related to carrier and transportation needs and product flow management. Assist corporate transportation team with any needs related to 3rd party freight audit and payment for transportation spend out of DCs. Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree. Two or more years related experience in traffic, transportation, and/or distribution management. Fluent in English. High proficiency in Microsoft tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
