At a Glance: What to Expect Employment Type: Indefinite Term Contract Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST Work Setup: Onsite in Bogota/Medellin What You'll Do Every Day Schedule mediations and depositions efficiently.
Send and track letters to clients.
Organize notices and letters for depositions and mediations.
Call clients to confirm appointments.
Assist with tasks as requested by attorneys or case staff.
Compose letters, pleadings, and motions.
File motions for extensions of time when required.
Maintain calendars and ensure deadlines are met.
Process documents, file court paperwork, and prepare general pleadings, notices, subpoenas, correspondence, and hearing/trial exhibits.
Support attorneys in hearing and trial preparations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements Are You the One We're Looking For?
Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong grammatical and spelling abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Skill in effectively dealing with a diverse range of individuals at all organizational levels.
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
Capability to work independently and as part of various teams and committees.
Acute attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds and levels.
Fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding both English and Spanish.
