Responsibilities Role Statement and Mission Legally manage in line with the goals and guidelines set forth by Latam entities. Legally monitor compliance on corporate governance by Andean Region and Central America. Ensure standardization of legal documents in the countries. Identify legal risks and legal contingencies. Implement monitoring and reporting mechanisms. Monitor regulatory initiatives and political risks in the region. Monitor Legal-Tax Governance compliance in the region. Act as the point of contact with Legal Americas for Legal Compliance and Legal Ops. Provide proactive, fast, effective, high-quality, and business-oriented legal support and advice in key projects. Anticipate and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws relevant to the business to provide strategic advice and foster compliance. Support compliance of corporate governance of local entities. Support Latam in the centralization of information required to report to Yara Intl or Yara Legal Americas. Update Yara's JV register and Legal Claims reports. Supervise the standardization of legal templates. Centralize and monitor trademarks in Latam. Monitor external counsel where the Legal Department has no seat. Monitor regulatory initiatives and political risks in Latam. Supervise Legal-Tax Governance compliance in Latam. Serve as the point of contact with Legal Americas for Legal Compliance and Legal Ops for the implementation of initiatives in Latam. Support the Latam Legal Director in all initiatives. Provide and implement best practices, contributing to the improvement of processes. HESQ *Know and comply with the Policy, Safety Principles, guidelines and HESQ standards established by the company, based on the Safe by Choice philosophy, as well as the applicable legal requirements. Profile Education Law degree Specialization degree: Commercial, Civil or Tax law. Litigation or labor law skills are a plus but not necessary. Work Experience At least 7-8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably commercial, civil and tax legal experience in a global law firm.
