Position Snapshot
Be part of our client's team as a Learning and Development Manager! You'll design, implement, and enhance dynamic training programs for a leading tech organization, aligning initiatives with strategic goals, inspiring growth,
and fostering an engaging learning culture.
Employment Type : Indefinite Term Contract
Shift : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM (Colombian Time)
Work Setup : Hybrid (Bogotá / Medellín)
What You'll Do as Our Learning Champion
- Design and build content for a comprehensive training program to foster employee growth and skill development.
- Ensure that training programs are up-to-date, relevant, and engaging by incorporating participant and stakeholder feedback.
- Partner with department heads to develop and monitor onboarding plans for managers and higher-level staff.
- Develop and deliver leadership training across the organization.
- Track and analyze training outcomes to measure program success and return on investment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all training activities.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Design management training specifically for new managers.
- Oversee the organization's training platform, including assigning, reporting, and making recommendations on training initiatives.
- Partner with department heads to identify and address both individual and departmental training needs.
- Conduct training sessions using various methods (classroom, e-learning, role-playing, simulations, etc.) and collaborate with external vendors for specialized programs when necessary.
- Design and deliver soft skills training and leadership development for high-potential leaders, and oversee the Mentorship Program.
Requirements
Your Experience & Expertise
- Experience : 5-10 years of experience or a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field (master's degree is a plus).
- Professional Background : Proven experience as an L Manager or similar role within a Professional Services consulting firm or SaaS technology company.
- Training Expertise :
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing effective training programs.
- Instructional Knowledge : Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models.
- Multitasking Skills : Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Adaptability : Comfortable working with complexity, ambiguity, and change.
- Technical Proficiency : Proficient in LMS and training software, as well as Microsoft Office.
- Global Experience : Experience working in a multicultural company is required.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field (master's degree is a plus).
Tech Stack :
- Familiarity with LMS and training software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills :
- Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
- Experience with HubSpot is a plus.
