We are looking for a talented and experienced Lead UX/UI Designer who will be responsible for leading and designing intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces for our gaming experiences. This role will work closely with our game designers, developers, and art team to create seamless and engaging user experiences that captivate our players and elevate our games. You'll play a key part in shaping the look and feel of our games to navigate and be enjoyable to play. Responsibilities: Lead the UX/UI team, guiding and mentoring designers while being hands-on in crafting and executing design solutions to deliver top-quality user experiences that align with the overall vision of the game. Establish and plan key objectives with creative direction, ensuring their fulfillment through effective strategies and continuous monitoring. Lead the UX design strategy, aligning the product vision with the creative direction. Collaborate closely with product managers, game designers, and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Design user interfaces that prioritize ease of navigation, intuitive gameplay, and visual appeal, ensuring a seamless user experience across PC, console, and other platforms. Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve usability, accessibility, and interaction design, boosting player satisfaction. Collaborate with artists and developers to ensure visual design integrity and consistency throughout the game development lifecycle. Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices, while staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Implement UX solutions optimized for Unreal Engine, ensuring consistent and engaging experiences across different platforms. Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer in the gaming or interactive media industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and results. At least 2 years of proven experience leading and mentoring a UX/UI design team, with the ability to guide design strategies and manage team workflows. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software. Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Marvel, Principle) to create interactive prototypes. Experience in developing motion graphics using After Effects, with expertise in visual layout tools. Excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine and its capabilities in designing intuitive, engaging user experiences. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, user interface guidelines, usability, and accessibility standards. Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and rationale, collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, game design, development). Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating feedback into design iterations. Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
