Tembo Vision is a learner-centered space that provides efficient digital learning and development opportunities adapted for all MSF staff, to better contribute to MSF operations and MSF's social mission. The mission of Tembo is to become a personal and organizational digital learning & development ecosystem used across MSF, supporting mutualization and gaining efficiency between OCs, and providing a space for all MSF staff to learn, develop themselves and share knowledge.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
At present, Tembo is in the process of executing its Business Case, which is scheduled for completion in 2025. The current Business Case encompasses six main projects. The LCMS & CoP Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing two key projects within the Tembo ecosystem:
Learning Content Management Strategy (LCMS): Focusing on the development of efficient learning content management strategy, processes and workflows.Communities of Practice (CoP) Mapping and Needs Analysis: Supporting social learning through mapping digital tools and analyzing the needs for communities of practice across MSF.The coordinator will ensure that these projects align with Tembo's strategic goals and are executed within a 3-month period. The LCMS & CoP Coordinator will report directly to the Tembo Program Manager and collaborate with the OCB People Development Coordinator on functional aspects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Define the vision and the strategy for the learning content management in MSF: Co-design the vision and strategy in alignment with the L&D vision.Design and Workflow Development: Design processes for updating, archiving, and retrieving MSF's learning content. This includes managing the content lifecycle and maintaining its relevance.Taxonomy and Documentation: Develop a standard taxonomy for content tagging to improve searchability. Implement a documentation model that ensures visibility and easy access to resources across MSF.Content Mapping and Analysis: Develop a system for mapping existing content across MSF's operational sections, identifying gaps, overlaps, and areas for improvement.Project Reporting: Provide regular progress reports and recommendations to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Tembo's long-term strategy.Communities of Practice (CoP) Mapping and Needs AnalysisStakeholder Engagement: Conduct interviews and workshops with Learning & Development (L&D) and Human Resources (HR) referents to understand methodologies and needs for communities of practice (CoP).Platform Mapping: Map existing digital platforms used for CoPs across MSF. Evaluate the usage and potential of these platforms, focusing on Totara Engage as a key tool for supporting CoPs.Gap Analysis: Identify gaps in support, capacity, and resources available for developing CoPs. Draft recommendations on how Tembo can adapt its services to meet these needs.Data-Driven Improvements: Analyze data gathered from interviews and reports to suggest improvements for CoP initiatives across MSF.Final Reporting: Provide detailed reports on platform mapping, support gaps, technical assessments, and the potential for using Totara Engage in Tembo.SELECTION CRITERIA At least 3-5 years of experience managing complex projects involving diverse teams and multiple stakeholders, particularly in digital learning, content management, or educational technology.Strong understanding of learning content management processes and familiarity with digital tools for educational content organization.Experience in mapping digital tools and managing social learning initiatives is an asset.Previous experience working in the international humanitarian sector, ideally with MSF, is a strong asset.Experience with digital platforms (e.g., Totara) and content management systems is highly desirable.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Educational Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French or Spanish is a strong advantage.CONDITIONS Position based in any MSF OCBA Hub (Barcelona, MSF-Spain office delegations, Amman, Bogota, Dakar or Nairobi). Final location will be subject to the employability of the preselected candidate (residency, work permit, etc.).Full-time position.Annual gross salary: HQ 3B level + secondary benefits based on MSF OCBA Reward Policy.
