The company is passionate about celebrating Latino culture, fostering entrepreneurship, and leveling the playing field for these businesses Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and focus on expanding our presence within the vibrant Latino restaurant community in the US.
This role will be based in Mexico, but you will be specifically focused on selling into US accounts.
As a BDR at Birria, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and driving sales through cold calling and setting up meetings.
Your role will be crucial in helping us achieve our ambitious growth targets and establish Birria as the go-to platform for independent Mexican restaurants.
Responsibilities Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients (independent Mexican restaurants) across the US.
Generate and qualify leads through cold calls, emails, social media, and community outreach.
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including restaurant owners, managers, and decision-makers.
Become a trusted advisor, effectively communicating Birria's value proposition and how the platform can empower their business.
Appointment Setting: Secure meetings and presentations with prospective clients through effective cold calling and communication.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the Latino restaurant industry in the US.
Provide actionable insights to guide strategic decisions and identify new opportunities.
Community Building: Actively participate in and contribute to the Latino restaurant community.
Attend industry events, network with key players, and represent Birria as a passionate advocate for independent businesses.
Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, lead status, and performance metrics.
Use CRM tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the tech or hospitality industry.
Experience working with the Latino community or small businesses is a plus.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
