As a Junior Implementation Engineer , you will play a key role in deploying and maintaining our robotic delivery systems. You will work closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation of our solutions at various sites. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their engineering career with a passion for robotics and technology. Location: Colombia, & US Key Responsibilities: Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of robotic delivery systems. Collaborate with senior engineers to execute deployment plans. Provide on-site technical support during system implementation and rollout. Conduct system troubleshooting and perform necessary repairs or adjustments. Document and report implementation processes, issues, and resolutions. Train end-users on system operation and maintenance. Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system deployment and support. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Recollect inputs for the creation of a launch plan for each new site to operationalize a fleet of robots in a matter of weeks. Implementation of the launch plan created by leadership with high levels of execution. Innovate on launch playbooks to help scale operations across different cities. Drive initial adoption of the service through launch marketing campaigns in close coordination with partners and the Central Operations team. Be a point-of-contact for tactical actions for our partner POCs and other stakeholders. Monitor and ensure the robotic fleet's readiness and performance. Training Program: The role includes a comprehensive 4 to 6-month training program designed to provide theoretical and practical experience (20/80 split) in a fast-paced startup environment. The program is divided into three phases: Introduction to Kiwibot and Training (1-3 weeks): Learn about the company and its operations. Receive foundational training on robotic systems, maintenance, and deployment procedures. On-field Intensive Training (15-20 weeks): Participate in hands-on training at various implementation sites in regions such as America, the Middle East, or Asia. Engage in daily activities like robot preparation, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring. Develop and execute launch plans for new sites. Innovate on deployment strategies to improve scalability. Experience Debriefing (1-3 weeks): Review and analyze the training experience. Provide feedback and suggestions for future implementations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electronic engineering or Mechatronic engineering. Basic understanding of mechanical systems. Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits. Familiarity with Linux operating systems. Basic knowledge of network configuration and communications (LAN/WAN connections, SSH). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Willingness to travel to various implementation sites as required. Resilience, creativity, adaptability, resourcefulness, and strong decision-making skills. Nice to have: Experience with electronic circuits maintenance (PCBs). Experience with programming languages.
