As a Junior AP Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance and Accounting team by managing cash flow and expenses. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that financial reporting is both accurate and timely. This includes helping the team meet deadlines for financial audits and delivering cash management reports by the 15th of each month. Job Overview Employment type: Indefinite Term Contract Shift: MONDAY TO FRIDAY | 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST Work setup: Hybrid, Bogotá and Medellín From Invoices to Impact: Your Role Manage all vendor billing-related activities, including monitoring the accounts payable email inboxes, uploading invoices, and responding to vendor inquiries. Conduct vendor analysis and monitor spend. Oversee the Accounts Payable system by adding and modifying workflows, creating new users, and setting up new vendors. Handle all new vendor requests and inquiries, organizing all related documents. Code and process invoices, and manage invoice reconciliations against statements. Assist in gathering information for submitting 1099s at year-end. Support cardholders with monthly reports and inquiries, and review non-property corporate credit cards and expense reports. Collect Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and contracts. Assist with internal payment inquiries. Support staff and senior accountants with various projects and responsibilities as needed. Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all FAA processes you are involved in. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements What It Takes to Unlock Success Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting or finance. 0-1 years of accounting experience or internship experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Professional demeanor with superb communication skills. Eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
