Position: Senior Developer Python Location: Colombia Responsibilities: API Development Updating APIs and Python libraries as needed Drive and develop QA enhancements (getting ahead of "logging" which is a real-time identifier of issues) Handle maintenance work in updating APIs and in-house Python libraries Help develop some data pipelines Automation jobs which identify data completeness and pull ahead potential issues in production Update microservices with development logging libraries Real-time database data pipelines (saving states as well as identifying any gaps which may impact production) QA Enhancements Postman collection to pull ahead issues Skills: Strong Python Experienced working with and building Python APIs Software engineering / distributed systems Automation / QA API libraries, e.g., FastAPI, Pydantic Docker SQL Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Solid experience in data development or a related role. Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking). Nice to Have: Experience with Databricks platform. Databricks certification. Experience working with international clients. Experience working with Azure. Knowledge of FinOps as applied to the data space.
