Description Netafim is seeking an Jefe de Ingeniería to lead our engineering team in developing innovative irrigation solutions. The ideal candidate will have to guarantee that all designs meet Netafim standards, complying with the characteristics and materials necessary for the correct operation of the irrigation system, optimizing resources in search of a saleable and attractive project for the market. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the engineering team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Receive, analyze and validate the technical information provided by the client to start the design phase. Validation and review of the designs for each of its phases prior presentation to the Commercial Team. . Validate compliance with design criteria (velocities, losses, uniformity coefficients, distribution coefficient). Oversee the design, development, and testing of irrigation systems and components. Validation by subsystem (filtering, pumping, automation, valves) general quantities. Resource management for allocation to company's project requirements. Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Work hand in hand with the agronomy team in search of the best solutions. . Conduct technical reviews and provide feedback on engineering designs and proposals Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field 1 to 3 years of experience in an engineering role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and water management technologies Proven ability to manage engineering projects from conception to completion Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in engineering software and tools Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
