MORI Associates is seeking a Procurement Analyst to provide operational support in the process coordination of all functional reviews for the Commercial IT Management (CITM) authorization process in the Enterprise IT Acquisition Management Branch in the Enterprise Business Management Office (EBMO) in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency's enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA's message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA's communication to the outside world. JOB DESCRIPTION / FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide operational support to the Commercial IT Management (CITM) authorization process. Review Commercial IT Requests for completeness and collaborate with customers to understand their IT requirements. Conduct research on the country of origin (COO) of hardware and software, as well as company affiliations, and gather the necessary information to complete the Covered Article Technology Supply Chain Assessment Needed (CATSCAN) forms. Suggest similar or alternative hardware or software products to customers, when available, that have already been approved from a supply chain perspective. Collect Section 508 documentation as required or recommend alternative equivalent products. Maintain CATSCAN numbers in the Software and Hardware Evaluated for Lifecycle Fulfillment (SHELF) database record. Ensure the SHELF and all associated records are accurately maintained, including gathering, reporting, and managing functional reviews, product capability reviews, and functional attribute flags; setting up and configuring functional review logic; and updating SHELF record statuses. Provide authorization metrics as requested. Collaborate regularly with team members from other areas to provide support and share information. Utilize expertise in acquisition processes to ensure the completeness and accuracy of customer requirements. Answer customer inquiries and questions as required. Manage a shared inbox effectively. Foster and maintain cross-team relationships. This is a Remote position, but the employee should live near a NASA Center. The employee bears travel costs to the nearest NASA Center for badging and issue of NASA IT equipment. EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS WORK REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in any field. 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
