In Consulting and Bespoke Services (CBS), we are responsible for the Development of the Amadeus Solutions, as well as the Consulting and Program management. We aim to design the right level of serviceability for these solutions and industrialize our delivery practice worldwide in order to meet segments pipeline objectives. Summary of the Role: In the IT operations entity, acting as our new IT Operations Engineer , you will be in charge of worldwide bespoke application hosting management, the global automation of operation tasks, and the supervision and monitoring of our supported applications. In this role you'll: Manage product releases rollout and customer data deployments on the different platforms. Design the hosting of technical solutions and perform feasibility studies to benefit from AWS cloud services advantages. Apply the required security and change management policies to maintain a high level of safety in our environments and processes. Provide support in case of infrastructure issues that impact our customers' applications. You assume on-call duties for the most critical applications. About the Ideal Candidate: Recent university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. 1 year+ working experience implementing and maintaining complex IT solutions on Microsoft Windows and Linux systems. Technical Competencies: Ability on hosting implementation and deployment of .Net and Java applications. Public Cloud computing experience (AWS experience is recommended). Logs management experience. System and middleware hardening skills. Containerization and Kubernetes intermediate knowledge. Ability to implement security requirements (encryption at transit, WAF, hardening). Basics on MS SQL and MariaDB exploitation (queries, connectivity, user management). Windows and Linux systems and middleware hardening skills (IIS, Apache, Tomcat). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in advanced English. Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
