Position: IT Manager Location: Bogota, Colombia Employment type: Full-time Remuneration: Base salary DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and maintain IT systems, including firewalls, routers, servers, and storage.
Configure and troubleshoot network devices, VLANs, routing protocols, and VPNs Manage DHCP, DNS, load balancing, and optimize network performance and scalability Oversee server (Windows/Linux) performance, backups, disaster recovery, and data integrity Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems Lead IT teams, ensure 24x7 system availability, and manage incident response Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects, managing budgets and resources REQUIREMENTS: Advanced proficiency in English (at least B2), both written and spoken Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role Extensive experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and server management Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), NAT, VLANs, and network security Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification Experience with Linux systems Proven ability to manage a 24x7 IT support environment Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), would be considered a plus Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, would be considered a plus ITIL Foundation certification, would be considered a plus BENEFITS: Excellent remuneration package based on experience, skills, and performance Be part of a dynamic international team with a positive and friendly atmosphere Guidance and tools to reach career potential Performance bonuses Private health insurance
