As an IT Engineer, you are responsible for maintaining and implementing changes, developing, and innovating IT services and solutions to enhance Vopak's IT landscape. You will also propose new IT initiatives based on market developments or customer needs, ensuring the continuous improvement of IT services and solutions. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of IT experience, including 2-3 years of experience supervising staff. Experience in at least one of the domains (Workplaces, Infrastructure & Networking). Experienced in ITIL, LEAN, Agile processes. Must have demonstrated multiple project management skills. Ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and customers. Proven ability to establish and document new processes, as well as improve existing ones when necessary. Prior experience in working in a 24x7x365 Network Operations Centre. Excellent oral and written skills in both Spanish and English. What does your day look like? Your core responsibilities are: Advise and support corporate demand management in the acquisition and implementation of new services in regards to the IT landscape. Identify and evaluate potential solutions, ensure that requirements are met during development and support the implementation of IT. Advise management on required upgrades of service components to guarantee continued support and required capacity to handle the expected load and volume of changes to keep the service aligned with changing business needs. Identify opportunities for service improvement. Act as internal coordinator for the execution of service improvement plans. Formulate IT solutions/service requirements. Contribute to enterprise architecture, start architectures, and design or develop new services concerning the IT landscape. Development of new and change of existing IT landscape (including coordination of 3rd party, and own development). Ensure operational continuity and quality of external supplier deliverables. Plan, organise, and perform the functional acceptance test of new releases, including functional integration testing. Facilitate user acceptance testing of new releases by the business. Provide 2nd or 3rd level support on incidents and act as problem manager or SME for problems. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.
