It is a flexible program that works with local and regional actors to identify opportunities to enhance contextual actions and contributions to communities. Through this investment, it seeks to leverage the own resources of the communities, entities and organizations that lead actions of transformation and peace building in their territories. **Please note: Only Colombian citizens are eligible for this position** Position Summary: The IT Consultant will provide IT support to the Colombia Transforma project staff, in specific cases where Tetra Tech's Headquarters (HQ) IT team is unable to provide support. This position will take place between November 2023 and November 2024, with an average time commitment between 15 to 20 hours per month for a total of 182 hours. Responsibilities: Work closely with the Senior IT Specialist, Administrative Management, Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP), Chief of Party (COP), and the HQ IT team. Configure all the equipment financed by the project in accordance with the IT standards of the HQ. Prepare the project computers with the Windows Configuration Designer (WCD) package, joining them to Azure AD for remote management under the direction of the Senior Technology Specialist and the HQ IT team. Install and configure the computers purchased from the project based on the Tetra Tech user account provided by HQ IT. Configure the individual Outlook O365 client per user account. Configure the Egnyte Desktop application per user, ensuring that W:/drive is mapped. Install software updates/patches, service packs, and other updates (Dell Command Update & Windows Updates). Address printer and peripheral setup and maintenance needs. Troubleshoot IT and network issues on demand and escalate to HQ IT team when necessary. Support Senior IT Specialist and HQ IT team in configuring all project funded and internet enabled network devices in accordance with Tetra Tech standards and policies. Connect network devices to public IP. Coordinate with HQ to view wireless coverage within the office space and relocate access points to strategic positions. Collect data on IT installation, in which the template will be provided by HQ IT team. Record printer/copier/scanner data and make, model, and name IP addresses. Photo log of all IT equipment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or systems technology required. Minimum two years of experience as a freelancer or consultant required. Experience in support and solving complex technical problems. Ability to work in a team and independently. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple support requests simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong computer skills, including advanced skills in hardware, networks, servers, operating systems, and application software. Strong effective communication skills to diagnose and solve technical problems. Fluency in Spanish and good writing skills in English required.
