Goodman Masson are partnered with a global manufacturing company looking to make a Tax Director hire in Colombia, looking after an established team of 6. Responsibilities: Leading a team of tax professionals in multiple regions. Overseeing regional tax controversy matters. Facilitating meetings with local tax authorities to address disputes. Managing local tax audits and coordinating responses. Engaging regional stakeholders to align on tax issues and resolutions. Ensuring compliance with regional and local tax regulations. Overseeing the documentation of tax returns for accuracy and adherence to legal requirements. Handling tax rate changes, particularly in areas such as withholding tax and corporate income tax. Providing advisory services on a regional level for tax-related matters. Developing and implementing local tax planning strategies to optimise tax positions. Supporting the establishment of new legal entities in various jurisdictions. Leading project planning initiatives related to tax structure changes and expansions. Providing expertise on Pillar II of tax regulations and its implications. Assisting with due diligence processes during M&A transactions. Offering integration support post-acquisition to ensure tax compliance and alignment. Requirements: Previous In-House Tax experience in South America, Colombia advantageous. Experience at Senior Manager level or above. Previous experience working for a Manufacturing, Tech or Pharma company advantageous. ACA/ACCA or CTA qualified or equivalent. No Visa Sponsorship required. The role will be based from the company's hub in Colombia. The role is paying up to 140,000 euros + bonus + share scheme.
