Nuvei's Integration team includes a team of Integration Specialists who manage new implementations or enhancements of Nuvei's quickly growing portfolio of merchants. The Implementation Engineer will participate in all phases of the account configuration, testing, and implementation process and troubleshoot problems with client integrations into our platform. In addition, the Integration Team Lead will internally assist the business operations teams in technical leadership for the client's technical journey with Nuvei and liaison to our technology, platform ecosystem, products, and services. Responsibilities A key leader with knowledge in payments, especially in technologies, integration frameworks, and able to define, design, and implement sophisticated techniques. A professional mentor for a team of integration specialists and technical client success managers who need to push forward the wheels of the business requirements and product technology to accommodate commercial needs. Coordinate project timelines, tasks, and development efforts with both the internal engineering team and customer teams to manage integration projects and ensure we keep customers on plan and on schedule. Identify product gaps, raise them with the relevant internal teams, and take a main role in shaping and designing the products, payment features, and services, overseeing the delivery with full accountability. Matrix manage payments technical solutions per required regulations, market demands, and client needs for complex implementations and high-level tier prospects and partners. Establish operational excellence through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business. Highly skilled at applying consultative methodologies to solve solution pain points while architecting features into best practice solutions to answer pressing business demands. Ability to manage multiple tasks running on parallel timelines and collaborate in a global and remote environment, while working in versatile fields (technology, product, and business). Passionate about technology, customer service, and helping others. Minimum Requirements +4 years of engineering management (i.e. software development, solution engineering). +5 years of hands-on integration and solution experience working as an Integration or Implementation engineer, or at least two (2) years of experience as a Sales Engineer / Solution manager. +4 years of experience within a leadership role in the payments industry. B.S. in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field is an advantage. Proven ability to read, debug, and understand web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.). Strong knowledge of data models and working knowledge of SQL. Working knowledge of web integration including iframes, widgets, SDK, Single Sign-On, APIs, and other SaaS technologies. Creative thinker and experienced at understanding clients' potential pain points. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven start-up environment. Working Language English (written and spoken) is the language used most of the time, as work colleagues, clients, and strategic suppliers are geographically dispersed.
