Schedule : Monday to Friday; 8AM - 5PM California Time with 1hr unpaid break
Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Intake / Insurance Verifier to join our team. This role involves verifying patient information, ensuring all necessary documents are completed, and maintaining accurate records within our system. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities : Confirm receipt of FS (financial statement) and ensure that each patient has a signed consent form attached.Create and update patient information in the electronic medical record system (eCW).Add patients to the appropriate schedule and assign them to the correct provider.Verify insurance details using available tools and resources.Update and maintain a tracking spreadsheet (training will be provided).Review and update patients' medical and prescription history.Attach financial statements (FS), insurance details, and consent forms to the patient's account for complete documentation.Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of patient information.Respond to inquiries from patients or team members regarding intake and insurance verification processes.Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical office administration or insurance verification is a plus.Previous experience in intake, insurance verification, or medical office administration is preferred.Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically eCW, is a plus.Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information with professionalism.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Independent Contractor Perks : HMO Coverage for eligible locationsPermanent work from homeImmediate hiringSteady freelance jobRequirements : Proven experience with task/project management tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Proficiency with Zoom, email, and social media platforms.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
