The Inland Delivery Analyst in Cartagena is responsible for organizing the execution of land operations between clients and third-party logistics and customs brokerage partners to ensure that customer service levels are met daily. This role also enhances communication and traceability of incoming shipments for our clients, aiming to provide outstanding service and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate land shipment services with land logistics providers (transport companies) to ensure timely container deliveries.Provide customer service to assigned clients, addressing inquiries and information requests.Complete billing in a timely manner.Communicate with clients regarding any discrepancies and approvals/rejections of documents.Keep internal and external stakeholders informed about logistical service performance periodically through KPIs.Report service failures and other challenges to the supervisor.Create and support initiatives for improvement in land operations processes.Monitor and resolve issues to ensure the movement of inactive containers.Track and report potential delays.Maintain data integrity through accurate entries and updates to all related systems.Qualifications: Professional or higher degree in Business Administration with focus on logistics or supply chain, Transportation Management, Port Management or related studies.General experience in land logistics for over 2 years, with experience in land transport concepts and principles.Knowledge of customs import and export technicalities (2+ years).Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.Solid computer skills, including but not limited to Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint.TMS knowledge.Work on site and availability to travel.Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
