As an Information Security Advisor working remotely in Colombia, you'll be a part of bringing humanity to business. #experienceTTEC What You'll Do As a TTEC Information Security Advisor, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our applications and data by identifying, mitigating, and preventing security vulnerabilities associated with internally developed applications and services. This role includes oversight and management of identified risks and concerns relative to software development, code repositories and CI/CD pipelines as we look for ways to improve the security of our application development practices through process, technology, awareness, and training. You will report to the Chief Security Officer. We are looking for a customer-obsessed, driven, and creative individual to work with our team. During a Typical Day, You'll Establish positive working relationships with the internal teams who are developing software. Track and monitor what the development teams are working on, what tools they are using, where the tools are located, etc. Monitor the tools and systems used to generate and store code to proactively identify and remediate issues. Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle. Coordinate regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and other weaknesses in our internally developed applications and services. Stay updated with the latest security trends, attacks, breaches, vulnerabilities, and best practices. Identify and implement security solutions to protect applications from cyber threats. Conduct regular maturity assessments to identify potential areas of improvement. Provide regular reports to leadership on the overall health and security of the internal development functions and related efforts. What You Bring to the Role Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field. Degree, or 3-5 years work experience, in application development, web security, technical, cyber security or related field. Strong knowledge of secure SDLC processes. Strong understanding of software development methodologies and programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python). Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, C#, or Ruby. Proven experience in application security, including vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and secure coding practices. Familiarity with security tools such as static analysis tools (SAST) and dynamic analysis tools (DAST) and Interactive analysis tools, web application firewalls. Familiarity with modern application development methodologies such as DevOps, SecDevOps, Agile, etc. Familiarity with common web and mobile application security risks and standards, such as OWASP Top 10, CWE/SANS Top 25, PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc. What You Can Expect Supportive of your career and professional development.
