**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Cuso International is implementing projects in Colombia offering technical training and employment opportunities that respond to current labor market needs to at-risk youth, women, victims of the conflict and the Venezuelan migrant population in eight cities in Colombia: Bogota, Soacha, Medellin, Cali, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Buenaventura and Quibdó. To achieve this, we are looking for a HR Officer to support the implementing team.
The HR officer will work closely with the Country Representative and Managers in implementing defined HR related tasks. They will also work closely with the HR team in the Central office (Canada) to ensure that HR process are aligned in the conception and implementation.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
In this role, you'll be expected to contribute to the Recruitment, Onboarding and HR Administration processes. Each task will specifically entail the following:

Recruitment_**_:_**
- Support with complete cycle recruitment activities
- Support Hiring Managers to review and edit job descriptions for consistency
- Identify and manage local job boards to share Cuso Internationalvacancies
- Manage job postings on BambooHR.
- Manageinitial resume screening
- Schedule and manage the pre-screeningprocess
- Ensure that job applicants enjoy a positive recruitment experience
- Ensure accurate documentation and filing of each recruitment step
**_ HR Administration_**_:_**
- Prepare letters and correspondence for employees, including contractual documents
- Ensure all employee documentation is up to date with Finance and on BambooHR
- Track employee start and end dates
- Manage medical examination requests for new and existing employees,as well as employment entry and exit requests
- Manage the social security documentation process for new and existing employees in conjunction with the payroll provider
- Manage issuance of employment contracts and the exit process
- Support managers in following up with contract expiration and renewals
- Develop periodic relevant HR reports
**_ Onboarding_**_:_**
- Support the HR Advisor Values and Talent Management with new employee onboarding
- Support in the design of a new employee orientation package for the local team
- Manage the 1-month, 3-month and the 6-month new employee check-ins
**_ Offboarding_**_:_**
- Support the HR Advisor Values and Talent Management with exit interview and off boarding of dis-engaged employees
- Supportprompt processing of end of service entitlement
**_ Other_**_ duties:_**
- Support the HR Advisor Values and Talent Management in following up on performance reviews, employee survey actions and DEI initiatives
- Support in coordinating the logistics of training events
- Socialise company policies with existing employees periodically
- Take the lead to inform the Central Office HR on changes in local labour legislations and regulations
- Perform other HR-related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor in the fulfillment of the objectives of the position
- Travel to intervention cities when required
- Commit to ongoing professional, personal development and learning
- Interrelation with payroll outsourcing for the purpose of hiring personnel as appropriate - follow up on initial affiliation and processing of new developments at the request of workers - processing of payroll developments on a monthly basis.

**EXPERIENCE / SKILLS**
- A university degree in HR, Economics or related field
- 2 years' work experience,preferrably in HR
