In anticipation of a contract award, we are looking for an HR Reasonable Accommodations Specialist to support a government client. Job Description: Ensure accommodations for individuals are in accordance with the Rehab Act of 1973 as amended, the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), and guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Evaluate appropriate medical documentation, meeting with employees and applicants individually to discuss barriers in the work setting and identifying appropriate accommodations, collaborating with supervisors and managers, staff, and relevant mission partners to implement accommodations effectively. Provide consultant services and/or programs in areas of reasonable accommodation. Use technical skill to develop the overall plans, procedures, and operating methods for assignments. Develop comprehensive reports regarding reasonable accommodation requests. Provide advisory services to management on reasonable accommodation requests per guidance and applicable laws governing reasonable accommodation/disability employment. Job Requirements: At least four (4) years of more HR generalist experience. At least four (4) years of experience performing reasonable accommodation duties. Knowledge of the Rehab Act of 1973 as amended, the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), and guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Experience providing consultant services in the area of reasonable accommodation. Must have technical skills to develop overall plans, procedures, and operating methods for assignments.
