Position Summary: The Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning the company's HR functions with its organizational goals.
This individual will lead initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.
The ideal candidate has over 5 years of HR management experience and thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
Key Responsibilities: HR Leadership: Coordinate HR department activities to align with organizational objectives and drive performance.
Employee Engagement: Motivate staff, administer employee experience surveys, and develop actionable plans to enhance workplace satisfaction.
Policy Development: Establish and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support the company's growth and compliance needs.
Talent Acquisition: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-performing "A players." Conduct reference checks and oversee hiring processes.
Training & Development: Manage employee training and professional development programs to build skills and enhance productivity.
Employee Relations: Respond to employee questions and complaints, provide coaching, and address performance concerns.
Performance Management: Oversee performance review processes and coordinate appraisal programs.
Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll administration, prepare payroll, and research employee benefits to recommend and implement enhancements.
Compliance & Safety: Evaluate work environments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Develop strategies to prevent workplace injury and promote employee well-being.
Record-Keeping & Communication: Maintain internal records, prepare job contracts, and implement effective communication strategies.
Senior Management Support: Provide strategic HR advice to senior management to align HR practices with business objectives.
Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in a human resources management role.
Proven ability to recruit, retain, and develop top-tier talent.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, health and safety regulations, and HR best practices.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues confidentially and diplomatically.
Proficient in HRIS systems and payroll administration.
Demonstrated experience in employee engagement, policy development, and change management.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-CP) is an asset.
