This role provides support on all elements of Recruitment and Human Resources throughout the employee lifecycle. Utilising experience of talent acquisition and employee relations, it provides advice and direction across a broad range of areas including recruitment, performance management & development, employee relations, and cultural initiatives. This role also supports the implementation of the global people strategy and relevant projects.Role and Responsibilities- Market open positions via our careers page, LinkedIn and job boards- Prescreen candidates via phone, video, and/or in-person interviews. Evaluate applicants and submit a shortlist of top candidates for hiring manager to review,ensuring they are in line with salary benchmarking Schedule subsequent interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.- Monitor and update our applicant tracking system and job boards- Partner with Hiring Managers to identify recruitment needs and candidate "must haves" and draft job descriptions to go to market.- Communicate with interview panels to ensure both Hiring Managers and candidates are fully prepared throughout the interview process.- Partner with Hiring Managers to identify competency questions for interview consistency and quality.- Work closely with business leaders to influence effective recruitment approaches and set realistic expectations on time to fill, compensation, candidate pool quality, and market feedback.Employment Relations- Acting as the point of contact for employee relations cases, escalating when necessary to the Head of P- Autonomously leading investigations, asking critical questions and coaching managers on feedback- Providing sound advice, coaching,supporting and challenging managers to ensure decisions are based on awareness of all associated people risks, and those issues are handled fairly and with due process- Keeping up to date on employment legislation to accurately guide managers.People Strategy and Projects- Assisting in the creation of the People Strategy, completing relevant project work to bring it to life throughout the year and owning tasks as required- Being proactive, providing ideas and suggestions, taking a lead role on projectsReporting & Administration- Completing relevant analysis of data, such as career development completion, people stats, leaver feedback, providing a perspective on risks and improvement areas- Generating and updating employee contracts, employee changes letters and other key documents, such as policies, as well as ensuring information on all HR systems is accurate- Working with the Administration Analyst to ensure all employee data is correct and payroll processed accuratelyWork experience and skills- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar HR Generalist role.- End-to-end employee lifecycle exposure- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and procedures- Demonstrated working knowledge of ER/IR including employment legislation and people "know-how" with regard to managing cases and mentoring leaders to manage people- Proven ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and employees, and to act as a trusted advisor- Demonstrated experience in leading formal and informal grievances and performance management matters- Commerciality - the ability to apply a reasonable and considered approach to delivery of key outcomes- Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations- Experience in the gambling or entertainment industry would be an advantage.Personal qualities and behavioural traits- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, creating positive and respectful interactions- Proactive, with the ability to anticipate and respond to HR-related issues and challenges- Results-driven, with the ability to deliver high-quality HR services and support that meet or exceed expectations- Collaborative, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders- Flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing business requirements- Resilient, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities- High level of integrity, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality.RelationshipsThe role will report to the Global Senior HR Business Partner and will work closely with other People & Culture team members, business leaders, and employees across the organisation.
