Description Located in the vibrant historic center of Cartagena, a port city on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, Nacar Hotel, a member of Curio Collection By Hilton, constantly seeks to create cultural connections, which bring guests closer to the essence of the city through a unique and dynamic perspective. Purpose: The General Manager of Nacar will be responsible for the management of the hotel, leading the operation team and directing it to the fulfillment of corporate goals, offering an excellent guest experience, optimizing operating profit, and meeting the expectations of our investors. Responsibilities: Manage and lead the hotel operations. Develop the commercial strategy by following up on the pricing, segmentation, distribution channels, advertising and promotion strategies outlined by Oxohotel's Marketing and Sales department. Perform market environment analysis (SWOT Matrix), competitive set, market statistics, historical data. Manage the ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring that revenue targets, guest satisfaction, and team member engagement are met and exceeded. Develop and follow up the annual budget, examining the behavior of fixed and variable costs, verifying compliance in the indicators of each area, and reviewing the results in utility. Lead the management and analysis of the service, constantly monitoring the levels of guest satisfaction in the different areas of the Hotel. Present the results of the operation to the Board of Directors. Implement and maintain the current processes in the management system (quality and sustainability). Follow up the implementation of the administrative processes of Human Management and ensure its execution: Recruitment and Selection, Hiring and Dismissal of personnel, Labor Legislation and Internal Regulations, Administrative Procedures, Occupational Health and Payroll News Report, induction process follow-up and training schedule. Exercise the legal representation of the company. Meet and exceed the service standards of the Hilton brand. Qualifications, knowledge and skills: The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills with strong knowledge of the hotel market and a strong focus on public relations, business strategy, strategic planning, operational management, and financial analysis. Guest experience and team member engagement oriented with a strong ability to demonstrate resilience and judgment. You will be enthusiastic and passionate, with demonstrated experience of at least 1 year as a General Manager in the luxury segment.
