About the Role: The primary focus of this role will be coordination of audits, vendor relationship coordination and review, and supporting business unit investor and regulatory change processing. The role will heavily use Black Knight/ICE MSP, need to have strong professional writing skills, and be comfortable with quickly learning new external systems. The role will, at times, require interacting with other business units to gain understanding of data present in the loan population and to help leadership identify opportunities for corrections or improvements. The role may be asked to support audit requests. The candidate should have strong writing skills, advanced skills with Excel, and be knowledgeable with mortgage terms and regulations.
Responsibilities: Spearhead and champion the optimization of workflow and processes for bank business unit(s).Identify and document business unit requirements, investigate business unit systems, and identify options for improving business unit systems.Provide a strong link between the business unit and information technology to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to document, communicate, validate, and refine necessary requirements.Elicit information and ideas from subject matter experts, business owners, vendors, and others regarding existing and proposed business systems.Research and interpret complex business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.Assist with business base development during the project initiation phase.Assist in integration and user acceptance testing of new or revised workflows, processes, and/or systems.Support the development of training and implementation materials.Serve as a liaison between business units and Technology Advancement Group.Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job functions.Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding relevant regulations.May coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as a subject matter expert.Actively learn, demonstrate, and foster the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.Take personal initiative and serve as a positive example for others.Embrace our vision to become "Business Bank of Choice."Perform other duties as assigned.About You: Bachelor's degree in business, project management, business systems or equivalent required. Master's Degree preferred. 4-7 years of relevant business analyst and/or project management and/or operations experience related to the assigned business unit function required. Advanced business operations abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills, and advanced data analysis skills including project management and/or operations are necessary.
Knowledge of banking policies, procedures, practices, and documentation is required, along with advanced project management skills and advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage complex projects and vendor relationships, and work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships is essential. Experience consulting with high-level managers and executives preferred.
Workstyle: Fully onsite.
We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $55,000.00 to $76,000.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
