We are looking for a Health & Safety Associate to join the Health and Safety section of our Subsidiary Management and Corporate Governance team. You will provide administrative support to the team, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, maintaining safety records, and assisting in the implementation of safety programs and procedures across the organization. You will report to the Director of Entity Compliance. You will be fully remote based in Colombia. You Will: Assist the Health and Safety Team with the sourcing and management of medical check vendors and coordinate with the HR team to conduct entry and exit medical checks for employees, and be an escalation point for all issues related to medical check management and invoices. Assist the Health and Safety Team in managing the H&S vendors, globally and in the LATAM region. This includes vendor enrollment, management, contract renovation, incident reports, risk assessments, inspection records, training logs, and fee increases. Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations by updating procedures, conducting risk assessments, monitoring changes in legislation, and assisting with regulatory audits. Coordinate health and safety training programs, track attendance, and ensure certifications are up-to-date for all employees. Help with internal and external communications regarding health and safety policies, updates, and projects, ensuring information is shared across the organization. Promote a positive health and safety culture within the organization, encouraging safe practices and continuous improvement in workplace safety. You Have: A diploma or certification in health and safety administration, occupational health and safety, or a related field is preferred (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH). 1+ years of experience in an administrative role within a health and safety environment. Fluent in English and Spanish. Fluency in Portuguese is an added bonus. Familiarity with health and safety legislation and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO standards). Basic knowledge of risk assessments and incident reporting procedures. The ability to work with employees at all levels.
