The school follows the Cambridge International Curriculum, offering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds. The successful candidate will lead the English department, ensuring the delivery of an outstanding English curriculum that inspires and engages students.Applications are welcome from teachers who have worked abroad previously as well as those that are seeking a new adventure overseas. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the English department, including curriculum planning, assessment, and resource allocation. Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that align with the Cambridge International Curriculum. Mentor and support English teachers, fostering professional growth and collaboration. Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic success. Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, such as literary clubs, debates, and writing competitions. Collaborate with other departments to promote interdisciplinary learning and a cohesive educational experience. Maintain open communication with parents, staff, and the wider school community. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field. Teaching certification and relevant qualifications in the Cambridge International Curriculum. Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
