About the Role You will manage Swiss Re's large single risk reinsurance P&C portfolio in Latam, which consists of complex risks from the biggest property & casualty insurers. You will be the face to the market, both to clients and brokers, and represent Swiss Re Fac at industry events and in senior management meetings, including as a member of the Reinsurance Latam Management Team. Your goal is to understand the client's needs, design relevant solutions, drive innovation by expanding the pipeline of new business solutions and products. Equally important is a specific focus on maintaining underwriting quality and preserving the value of our portfolio. Key responsibilities: Your role is to define the strategy for P&C Fac in Latam, aligning it with Swiss Re's risk appetite and guidelines and being part of a global cross-functional product leadership team for Fac. You are in charge of portfolio tracking and management, underwriting quality and portfolio profitability to achieve or surpass financial and operational KPIs. You oversee the P&C Fac teams in our regional offices in Miami, Sao Paulo, Bogota and Mexico City. About You: You have a strong reputation, network and expertise in the Latam P&C Fac market, with a background in re/insurance P&C underwriting, including a great knowledge of market conditions, products, and trends You lead your team with your management style, positive attitude, and drive. You establish clear performance expectations with results-oriented goals that help everyone on your team to grow, progress and succeed. You like to act like an entrepreneur and manage a large P&L. You contribute to the Latam Management Team with your intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills. You communicate effectively in English and Spanish, other languages valued. Locations: Miami (preferred), Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Bogota.
