Global Operations Risk + Compliance Manager Thursday, December 5, 2024 Purpose of the job The role of the Manager, Risk + Compliance is to validate, enhance and develop operational business practices that cross all geographies and sectors with a focus on eliminating business vulnerabilities with regard to the items we're procuring on behalf of our clients. In coordination with our GMB, Operations Excellence, Training, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Technology teams, they ensure that best in class business practices are documented and disseminated to our Client Engagement Community, Operations Business Partners and sectors. They play a pivotal role in identifying and solving operational risk we may encounter with our company processes for procurement of goods and services and to ensure the quality of those goods. Additionally, they have special focus on how our processes impact our financial results, addressing the policies and procedures thereof. The Operations Excellence team at HH global provides on-the-job collaboration and training to improve new client and new hire experiences. They provide open communication, hands-on leadership and mentoring, and knowledge sharing across teams. This team is internally focused – looking for opportunities to operate more efficiently – and structured flexibly to support peak activity, particularly with new client onboarding. Key Responsibilities Identify challenges, develop and execute improvement strategies related to how our teams procure goods and ensure the quality of those goods. Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies aligned with the organization's goals, aiming to standardize processes, improve order consistency, mitigate risk and enhance ensure quality in our procured goods. Collaborate cross-functionally and with senior management to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization in our procurement and quality assurance processes. Analyze existing procurement processes and identify opportunities for standardization, consolidation, and automation. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, reduce redundancy, and increase overall productivity. Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality services to internal stakeholders, meeting or exceeding service level agreements (SLAs). Develop and monitor performance metrics and KPIs, proactively addressing any service gaps and driving service excellence. Lead change management efforts to ensure seamless transitions during process changes, system implementations, and organizational shifts. Collaborate with department heads to communicate changes effectively and manage stakeholder expectations. Identify and leverage technology solutions (both internal and external) to enhance shared services efficiency, including the implementation of digital tools, automation, and self-service portals. Ensure all shared services processes comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Mitigate operational and compliance risks through effective controls, audits, and monitoring mechanisms. Knowledge, Skills + Experience Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience managing clients and/or processes within a managed service or technology organization. Advanced English is required. Comprehensive understanding of our risk and compliance solutions and their application within our business. Experience of working in a large, complex organization influencing others including senior-level decision makers. Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. Confident self-starter with ability to work independently and with teams. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and tailor messaging appropriately based on audience. Willingness to accept accountability with strong business acumen. Proven experience in leading process improvement, or continuous improvement initiatives, with sound project management experience. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills. Proven track record of continuously meeting or achieving established goals. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (specifically Smartsheets, Excel, and Power BI). Working knowledge of Microsoft applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
