The Chief Procurement Officer is reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, member of the Sanofi executive committee.
The Procurement organization is divided into five Domains (Manufacturing & Supply, Marketing & Sales, Professional Services, Scientific & Medical and Digital) leveraging Global Procurement Operations and the Procurement Center of Excellence & Transformation.
The yearly spend coverage is around 15B€ with a special focus on Procurement excellence, Supplier Diversity and Sustainability.
As Global Buyer Real Estate, leases, and Fit outs you will be responsible under the lead of the Global Lead Buyer for implementing sourcing strategies and operational execution at worldwide level with focus for Americas.
This includes activities such as, but not limited to, partnering with the internal business teams to support their objectives, assist with building project scopes, consolidate all business needs and specifications, conduct Global Request for Proposal (RFP), negotiate contracts renewals, rate cards / discount schedules, and manage overall relationships with key suppliers.
Responsibilities Operations Management Supports the Global Lead Buyer to ensure the strategy's execution.Implement global Category Management initiative for one of the 4 sub-categories.Leads RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations.Assess current category related processes and propose alternative ways to engage in a more efficient and optimized way.Build and deliver project and savings pipeline during budget cycle and maintain it throughout the year.Lead RFx processes, negotiations, and support contract development with global, regional, and local suppliers.Design and execute competitive bidding process for global category projects to obtain the best overall value-added solutions from candidate suppliers.Coordination of procurement activities for many and parallel Fit-out projects and strong interactions with Project and Cost Managers, appointed architects, and technical engineers.Reports on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities he/she is managing.Stays informed on current industry trends, new market developments and benchmarking related to his/her category area.Run SRM program with suppliers of his/her scope.Support pre/post-audit management, Crisis management.Maintains comprehensive understanding of Procurement Policies/Processes related to Risk/CSR/Compliance and ensures that these are adhered to by relevant team members.Stakeholder Management Develop robust Business Partnerships with assigned Stakeholders to ensure business needs are properly and timely met.Presents Procurement strategies to key internal customers for review and inputs.Partner closely with procurement services, Legal, Compliance, Internal Control and Finance teams towards successful completion of complex global scale negotiation and complex projects.About you Experience 5-7+ years' experience in either a procurement Real Estate category Management or Real Estate advisory / Project and cost management firm or Architecture firm.Soft Skills/ Technical skills: The position requires sourcing professional skills with a strong ability to develop relationships within and across the different lines of business and throughout the Procurement organization, including transversal / project management skills as well as management skills in a multi-cultural environment.Education Master's degree, Architect, or civil / construction Engineer.Languages Fluent in English is a must.
