About the Role: The Executive Steward ensures the proper use and preventive maintenance of machines and equipment, manages inventory of dishes and kitchen utensils, and maintains cleanliness of kitchens and their equipment.
What You Will Do: Evaluate and verify that job roles are designed according to employees' capabilities and skills.
Verify the order and cleanliness of assigned areas to ensure safety of chemicals.
Open and close shifts, verifying attendance of work teams, punctuality in service, and completion of tasks in designated areas, ensuring all items are stored properly and in order.
Inspect cleanliness of all areas, refrigerators, and storage rooms, ensuring they are spotless both inside and out.
Meet 100% of hygiene and cleaning programs in production kitchens and consumer centers.
Maintain kitchens, pantries, corridors, and areas in optimal conditions of cleanliness, order, and security.
Maintain major kitchen equipment and the rest of operating equipment in optimal condition.
Analyze, supervise, and control consumption expenses, not exceeding budgeted amounts for each consumption center.
Guarantee the existence of operating food and beverage equipment by taking monthly inventory of consumption centers, pantries, and making replacements for missing items at each consumption center, as well as preparing the annual purchasing plan for operating food and beverage equipment.
Requirements: Professional degree in food engineering, industrial engineering, or similar fields.
Minimum experience of 3 years leading medium-sized teams (10-20) in the area of kitchen cleaning (stewarding) with high employee turnover.
