Primary Purpose Coordinate the work with production schedullers to provide products on time and quantity as PPCI requirements (PREACTOR systems utilization as production schedule tool) and controlling in process inventory.; Manage, coordinate and drive the activities of the Industrial Engineering Area aligned with the strategic vision of the company's business plan, seeking optimization and implementation of improvement projects and systems.; Provides the vision for Continuous Improvement efforts within the manufacturing facility and leads the Plant Leadership Team in process improvement and work redesign efforts across the entire manufacturing process.; Responsible for the development of the organization in the understanding and use of Lean/Six Sigma tools and ensures that the plant is continually moving toward the achievement of world class levels of productivity, quality and customer responsiveness, aligned with the FI (Focus Improvement Pillar) of plant optimization. Main Responsibilities Provide the sponsorship required for cross-functional projects to succeed and assure required resources for initiation and completion of projects in the plant.; Production planning and in process inventory control (ticket accomplishment).; Drive CIS Culture, apply Lean and 6Sigma principles, identify & prioritize projects that will produce significant cost savings and coach projects when needed, Up-date the Loss calculations and manage the hopper of projects.; To support Plant Director with information about cost, projects, indicators. Provide on time information to Plant Management and Staff personnel to take decision and proper short/long term planning.; Coordinate with the Region and Global the AOP (Annual Operating Plan), capacity analysis vs requirement (C vs. R) analyzing the volume of production looking for productivity, quality, energy and others. Based on the requirements idenify the expansion projects, modernization of plant in order to ensure greater competitiveness.; Support and coach Engineers to make them progress to achieve AOP goals. Help and Coach the Engineers to facilitate a job combination in order to improve the development patterns of activities such as: calculating capacity, manning, layouts, alignment and development of productivity indicators, monitoring of OEE together with other leaders; Use existing and propose standards such as 5S, KAIZEN events, SMED, 6 Sigma, KANBAN, RAPID Events, BRIEF, STEP etc for all Continuous Improvement projects to reach our goal Education and certifications Required Professional degree in Industrial, Production or Mechanical Engineering Lean Manufacturing Certification Desired Advanced Technical or MBA Lean/SixSigma training/certification Intermidiate Englis skills Experience 5 to 8 years of experience working in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environment. Manufacturing experience successfully performed in business or technical responsibilities. Experience in identifying, prioritizing and solving process opportunities sponsored by business leaders.
