Responsibilities Instruct patients on the use of recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers, and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene. Oversee associate dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans. Implement and coordinate preventive dental care treatments such as flossing, fillings, sealants, x-rays, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated. Diagnose oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, and restoration. Assess the patients' overall dental health and look for the presence of dental diseases by thoroughly examining the patients' teeth using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments. Qualifications Years of experience working with restorative cases & surgical procedures. Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in Dentistry. Unrestricted and current state license in good standing. Should be computer proficient. Possess strong bedside manner and great communication skills. Requires CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
