Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to oversee our accounting and finance functions remotely.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership abilities, and familiarity with QuickBooks and online bill pay methods such as Bill.com.
The Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations, managing accounting employees handling accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), and supporting our overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the accounting and finance functions for the company and its three entities.
Supervise and support accounting employees in the execution of AR/AP tasks.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
Develop and implement effective financial controls and procedures.
Manage the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Ensure compliance with US financial regulations and standards.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
Utilize QuickBooks for accounting and financial management.
Implement and manage online bill pay systems such as Bill.com.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and online bill pay systems such as Bill.com.
