As a Financial Controller, you will ensure that the company's financial records are accurate and timely and guide decision-making with financial statements and reports. You will also assist in compliance, audits, and internal controls monitoring. Additionally, you will serve as the hub for intercompany accounting, managing intercompany transactions, and reconciling intercompany account activity. You will: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely financial performance reporting. Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls. Support business planning and decision-making processes, evaluating financial performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. Oversee the accounting department, including cash management and assisting with acquisitions. Collaborate with third-party accountants on audit and tax matters. Create and present insightful financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly P&L analyses. Perform hands-on accounting tasks such as running payroll and managing accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P). Facilitate month-end reconciliations to the general ledger and prepare/review reporting packages, including analysis of P&L drivers. Assess and mitigate financial risks, collaborating with the internal IT team to extract data from current systems. Participate in automation projects and leverage self-service tools to improve operational efficiencies and enhance workflows. Requirements: 5 years of work experience as a Financial Controller or in similar roles. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Ability to lead financial operations with expertise and enthusiasm. Strong skills in managing accounting processes, analyzing financial data, creating insightful financial reports, and providing strategic recommendations to our senior management team.
