Position Overview: The Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's Investments Department, working on transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and loan originations.
This role will also include interdepartmental collaboration on quarterly deliverables, financial reporting, and market analysis.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in commercial real estate finance and be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct market analysis, underwriting, and due diligence for potential investments.
Prepare comparable transaction data and market trend reports to support investment strategies.
Collaborate with Investor Relations, FP&A, Asset Management, and Financial Reporting teams for quarterly deliverables.
Update investor relations decks and manage competitive REIT benchmarking.
Assist in appraisal management, lease analysis, and the maintenance of Argus models.
Generate financial reports and presentations to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure the accuracy of master rent rolls, portfolio-level metrics, and lender compliance reports.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or related field.
2+ years of experience in commercial real estate, finance, or investments.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Argus Enterprise is a plus.
Strong understanding of commercial real estate finance fundamentals, including capitalization rates and DCF.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and able to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Nice-to-Haves: Experience in analyzing financial and legal documents such as leases and offering memorandums.
Strong interest and demonstrated experience in the commercial real estate sector.
