Job Highlights: Contract type: Independent Contractor Job Title: Financial Analyst Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Pacific with an hour unpaid break Job Title: Financial Analyst Job Summary: The Financial Analyst focuses on providing essential administrative support to the sales team.
Responsibilities include managing CRM data, tracking leads, managing Hubspot CRM, handling customer inquiries, creating projects and quotes based on project specifications, sending sales orders to customers, and ensuring smooth workflow within sales operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial team creates models to represent a company's financial situation and help inform business decisions. Key Accountabilities Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): The Financial Analyst position, reporting to the CFO and fully accessible to the CBO, will work closely with Sales, Marketing and Analytics Leaders along with their team and to provide insights and support the decision-making process in corporate and project strategic initiatives.
Play a key role in developing and maintaining annual budgets, long range plan and monthly financial forecast for multiple accounts with key emphasis on Sales, Margin and Marketing.
Candidate will be assigned special projects often relating to strategic analysis or other enterprise activities.
Work with cross functional teams to understand Marketing KPIs, media mix model, key business trends/strategies and incorporate that intelligence in the financial forecast for multiple accounts with key emphasis on Sales, Margin and Marketing.
Provide in-depth financial analysis on Marketing spend across all brands and the impact it has on sales & margin.
Partner with Marketing and Accounting teams to ensure month-end accruals and timing of expenses are captured accurately.
Develop financial modeling to measure investment and ROI for Marketing campaigns. Partner with cross functional teams to elevate existing processes and tools to meet the needs of current and future growth.
Develop monthly reporting packages, business reviews and Marketing KPI reporting to leadership teams.
Leverage diverse sources of data to assess financial performance and develop action plans to achieve business goals.
Research and explain sizeable month-end variances versus financial plans.
Identify business functional drivers and develop methodologies to support in-depth analysis and decision- making.
Prepare monthly financial presentations for leadership, effectively communicating financial results and performance to financial forecast and budget.
Provide insightful financial analysis and strategic insight to cross-functional teams.
Create presentations and other communication materials for executive management and Board of Directors meetings, earnings releases, investor conferences, industry events, and meetings with analysts and institutional investors.
Identify opportunities to leverage technology/systems to automate manual reporting and compilation processes.
Create ad-hoc financial analysis for business leadership.
Partner with business partners to ensure accurate and timely project reporting.
Additional duties as assigned.
Financial modelers typically have a bachelor's degree in mathematics, accounting, or finance, and excellent Excel skills. They also need a solid understanding of financial analysis terminology and best practices.
