Responsibilities / Tasks The Food Extrusion Sales Engineer manages the assigned resources to meet customers' needs within the context of promoting sales of all assigned GEA Food Extrusion New Machines products. S/he reports to the FHT Head of Sales, responsible for new machines sales within the assigned product group or application cluster in the country. This includes the revenue responsibility for €10 mio. Their main goal is to detail and implement the country sales strategy, perform sales planning/forecasting, and develop the product portfolio (in close cooperation with the Division) and drive revenues through new machines sales in the assigned cluster. They will focus on new machines delivery and meeting customer needs while promoting the "GEA" vision - a coordinated approach to sales across the entire organization. They may be assigned multiple applications into the EFT BU and will have to practice appropriate prioritization. S/he is encouraged to think in an innovative way and to embrace modern new machines products and theories. The company is seeking an experienced sales engineer with experience in selling high-value capital equipment or engineering services within the country. S/he should have a deep understanding of country markets and the life cycle management of capital equipment. The key management priorities for the role: Develop the new machines sales strategy and ensure a GEA approach to customers within the country (cooperation with FHT Head of Sales). Identifying opportunities for new machines sales. Actively managing key customer accounts. Operate in partnership with service sales engineers, service technicians, and other team members to identify "up-sell" and "cross-sell" opportunities to maximize revenue and improve overall customer experience. Manage individual day-to-day activities with possible responsibility for multiple Pasta BU to ensure a consistent approach and optimized performance. The tasks and responsibilities for the role include: Work with FHT Head of Sales to fine-tune new machines sales strategy. Coordinate development of new machines sales strategy within country/cluster. Lead new machines sales activities within defined EFT BU, allocate resources, and prioritize initiatives. In collaboration with FHT Head of Sales and Division, agree on annual new machine sales budget. Coordinate new machines sales planning, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure employee engagement by effectively communicating new machines sales strategy and vision. Work together with new service sales engineers and service technicians to ensure a coordinated sales approach. Promote efficient communication with other FHT Service members (service sales & after sales) and other departments (Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, HR). Follow policies and procedures; complete administrative tasks correctly and on time; support organization's goals and values; benefit organization through outside activities; support affirmative action and respect diversity. Your Profile / Qualifications Strong capital equipment or service sales experience in Food Extrusion Business. Familiarity with GEA service offerings and local market requirements of different customer groups. Excellent communicator, written and verbal, able to work with individuals (internal and external) across a wide range of levels, functions, brands, and cultures. Capable of implementing strategic new machines sales plan. Entrepreneurial and leadership competencies, as demonstrated by: Proven ability to build and maintain close relationships and networks with customers (decision makers).
