What can you expect in a Facilities Manager role with TaskUs:
The Facilities Managers are considered the leaders of the operations of TaskUs' properties.
They are our subject matter experts who provide guidance to the Facilities team as they strive to provide a world-class environment that will allow our teammates to be their best at work.
They are expected to provide thoughtful leadership guided by the TaskUs Core Values in running the site.
The TaskUs brand shall be evident through the quality of service your team provides to anyone who walks into our locations - from maintaining cleanliness, ensuring everyone is safe, giving quality meals, and keeping the whole site in good working condition.
You must have the capability to inspire the people reporting directly to you.
Must have the experience of leading a team for a minimum of 3 years with at least a minimum of 4 direct reports.
You, as their lead, is expected to be their coach so that they understand and perform the world-class standard of service that TaskUs aims to achieve, and are culturally aligned and will live the core values at all times. The team you lead is responsible to care for the people onsite.
You are expected to audit the site on a regular basis while engaging with teammates in order to understand their needs and make sure these are attended to.
You are also expected to build a close relationship with your site leadership, in order to understand and address any high-level issues or concerns and ensure that site operations run smoothly. Must be willing to take ownership of end-to-end transactions of the housekeeping, safety and security, maintenance, food services, business continuity, and general site management.
Must have a high level of accountability that he/she must share with the rest of the team and direct reports. SKILLS - ADMINISTRATIVE AND SITE MANAGEMENT People Engagement Able to work with a diverse group of people of different cultures and nationality. Solicit constant feedback on the site and working conditions from the employees by implementing regular walkthroughs, focus group discussions, surveys, and attending site leadership forums, and provide timely resolution to concerns. Formulate programs that will increase employee's work efficiency and job satisfaction. Customer-oriented person but can call out anybody if needed. Anticipate internal and external scenarios that can affect the company in terms of deadlines and impact to business.
Ready for Plan A, B and C when necessary. Anticipate changes on growth and expansion that are related to the company that can affect the Facilities Management in terms of service efficiency and delivery. Able to build strong relationships with all external parties he/she will be working with, such as the property management and lessors of his/her site's location, the local government units, other industry leaders etc. Engineering Maintenance Formulate and implement preventive maintenance programs for the site relative to Architectural, AC, Plumbing, Electrical and Electronics, and other engineering disciplines. Be able to anticipate equipment failure through its life span, performance and historical records. Be able to set up, recommend upgrade or replacement of an equipment prior to failure. Knowledgeable on the industry's best practices and latest technology, and use such knowledge in formulating the maintenance program for the site. Well organized and keeps track of equipment health as well as schedule of Preventive Maintenance. Has a pool of vendors for specialty work. Well versed in utility management (Water & Electricity).
Able to identify efficiencies to manage consumption without compromising employee quality of life. Can construct comprehensive engineering reports. Construction Management Must be able to vet vendors and keep relationships with them to ensure quality service and delivery is given to the company at all times. Be able to review, audit and recommend working drawings. Provide technical specifications and review computations as necessary. Well versed on the standards of Building, Electrical, Sanitary, Fire Code, and other engineering and government regulations. Know-how on the permitting process on LGU, PEZA, BOI, and other government regulating bodies. Well versed in construction methodologies, and able to anticipate problems during site build outs. Ability to construct comprehensive technical reports. Housekeeping and Office Upkeep Take lead in implementing the site's housekeeping program. Accountable in the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the reception, operations area, offices and conference rooms, and restrooms. Sets standards and expectations of cleanliness to the vendor.
Maintains a good working relationship with them to ensure quality service and delivery is given to the company at all times. Conducts a quarterly performance evaluation, and discusses wins and opportunities with the vendor to further improve quality of service. Accountable in overall inventory management.
Ensures that pantry and toiletry supplies are of ample quantity by setting reorder levels. Leads RFP/bidding of vendors when necessary. Safety and Security Assists the Safety and Security Team in managing the physical security operations of the site. Helps implement the safety program of the company in coordination with the Safety and Security Team. Acts immediately to correct any unsafe act or hazards that pose risk to TaskUs employees. Assists government-authorized officials in the site inspection related to safety. Handles closure of the findings or recommendation from site inspection. Must be able to present safety and security procedures of TaskUs in relation to our safety and security standards and must pass through our Safety and Security Director. Knows how to strategically position guards to ensure efficient enforcement of security. Knows the strategic positioning of CCTV.
Well versed in CCTV protocols. Sets standards and expectations to the security force.

Conducts a quarterly performance evaluation, and discusses wins and opportunities with the vendor to further improve quality of service. Leads RFP/bidding of vendors when necessary. Work Location / Work Schedule / Travel: Office Based.
