**The team**: Genetec is a market leader and innovative technology company with a broad solutions portfolio that encompasses security, intelligence, and operations. We are growing and so is our events portfolio; therefore, we are looking for an Event Coordinator for LATAM region. Reporting to the Regional Marketing & Event Manager, and working closely with the Corporate Events Team based in Montreal, you will take responsibility for coordinating and execution of the events portfolio within the LATAM region. Your focus will be to showcase the Genetec brand throughout LATAM and you will manage events that ultimately drive valuable leads through to our sales organization
**What your day will look like**:
- Coordinate the preparation and execution of key LATAM Regional Marketing activities and events (such us end-customers and channel conferences, seminars, tradeshows, sponsorships, demo center), and align the event plan with all the areas involved and present it to the team
- Manage all elements of the events program including event registration, material shipments, staffing, logistics, operations, schedules, speaking opportunities, and the digital communications through alignment with the Digital Marketing Coordinator
- Manage inventory of promotional items, including researching and ordering of new items and to coordinate the distribution of marketing materials between offices
- Liase with established vendors to ensure high quality, efficiency, and strong representation of the Genetec brand
- Ensure that the LATAM events presence supports the overall regional marketing strategy and goals align to the BMM, and adheres to corporate brand guidelines
- Check that the leads generated by the events are cleaned and uploaded correctly in the CRM through alignment with the Digital Marketing Coordinator
- Support Regional Marketing Managers to monitor the marketing event budget to ensure cost efficiency and maximize the effectiveness of the marketing spend
- Some onsite event support and associated travel will be required
**About you**:
- Minimum 2 years experience in B2B marketing
- Experience in IT Industry would be a plus
- Extremely well organized and detail oriented
- Strong marketing skills, specifically in events management and logistics
- Strong communication skills; comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization as well as with customers and agencies/contractors
- Naturally collaborative and enjoys working with varied teams in a matrixed organization
- Deadline driven and communicative with status updates and project timelines
- Experience with budget tracking
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing a multi-faceted portfolio of events
- True passion for events, marketing, branding, and lead generation
- Comfortable working in a remote team environment
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal skills in Spanish
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Portuguese is a plus
