Develops geological models of the earth's subsurface to understand the geological structure, rock characteristics and the likely distribution of oil/gas/mineral-bearing strata. Work is overseen by supervisor/project leader to ensure tasks are completed accurately in a timely manner. Makes judgment on tasks of a routine nature. OPERATIONS All other IES activities/duties as indicated by the IES Manager. Processing, Interpretation and Evaluation of Wireline and LWD logs. SQ reviews and data checks on received data. Client Interaction and coordination. Technical papers and presentations, internal mentoring. Wellsite technical assistance, Real time monitoring as needed. Training courses and continuous drive for improvement. WFRD's high HSE standards – no LTI and no HSE incidents in IES operations. Collaborate with customer petroleum engineering staff/RDD to provide integrated solutions to clients. Works with supervisor to ensure projects are completed in a timely & accurate manner. IES Solution sales. Regular client visits to understand their needs and understand the market. Ensure that all customers and marketing team receive prompt follow-up and support on technical related issues. Provide basic log QAQC, processing & analysis on OH/CH Wireline and/or LWD log data. Provide Interpretations to determine the integrity of the wells from Wireline log data. Provide Interpretations from Open Hole data to determine Hydrocarbon bearing intervals. Provide Interpretations from Image log data to determine Geologic structures. Generate log print, reports and deliver final deliverables to customer. Maintain timely data archiving and storage. COMMUNICATION Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external. Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports. Experience & Education REQUIRED 4-6 years related oil field experience, preferable in open or cased hole log operation, log analysis and geology. University Degree in Engineering, Geology, Geoscience or Geophysics. Experience in the evaluation of Casing Integrity Data. Experience in the evaluation of Cement Integrity Data. PREFERRED Other experience in Open Hole Log Analysis/Petrophysics and Geology/Image log interpretation also desired. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities REQUIRED Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills. Be a self-starter and eager to learn in the office environment. Be familiar with Microsoft Office products. Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures, priorities or work environments.
