Job Summary: We're looking for an Engineering Team Lead to join our team and play a critical dual role—75% hands-on technical work and 25% strategic leadership.
You will take charge of coding, prototyping, and delivering multiple MVPs, while also shaping the foundation of our technical processes and team.
This role is perfect for a technical guru who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to build and troubleshoot, and stepping back to make high-impact strategic decisions.
In this position, you will: · Take full ownership of delivering practical and functional solutions to business challenges through MVPs, PoCs, and scalable software.
· Provide strategic technical direction, laying the groundwork for scalable processes, tools, and best practices.
· Serve as the go-to expert for technical problem-solving, while collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and align efforts with business goals.

Key Responsibilities (75% Operational/Hands-On): · Own Technical Delivery: Build MVPs, run PoCs, and prototype solutions to quickly test and validate ideas.
· Hands-On Coding: Develop high-quality software solutions, data pipelines, and AI/ML models that align with business goals.
· Agility & Execution: Prioritize speed and efficiency in delivery, ensuring rapid iterations without compromising quality.
· Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges with practical, innovative solutions.
· System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, reliable systems that can evolve as products mature.
· Best Practices: Establish coding standards, DevOps pipelines, and development processes to guide future work Key Responsibilities (25% Strategy/Leadership): · Technical Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the technology roadmap and align it with business objectives.
· Innovation Leadership: Stay ahead of technology trends (AI, ML, cloud, and data) and drive the adoption of new tools and frameworks.
· Mentorship & Team Building: Develop frameworks for onboarding, mentoring, and growing a future technical team as the role evolves.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to scope, plan, and prioritize projects.
· Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve product quality, and increase development efficiency.
Requirements What You Bring to the Table: · 6+ Years of Hands-On Experience: Proven expertise in software development (Python, Java, .NET, or similar), with strong full-stack skills.
· AI, Data, and ML Expertise: Hands-on experience building AI/ML models, data pipelines, and analytics tools.
· MVP Builder: Demonstrated ability to deliver MVPs and PoCs quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Strategic Vision: The ability to align technical decisions with business priorities and long-term goals.
· Startup Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iterations, and wearing multiple hats.
· Cloud & DevOps: Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
· Leadership Potential: Experience mentoring or guiding junior developers and building scalable processes.
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, AI, software development) are a plus.
